World Changers

Once you have alternatives, your preservation in what your goal is becomes diminished. It does not matter how far gone you are, it does not matter the shade of obstacles you are facing. A winning mind is that one that is focused on the goal.

Revolutions occur every day, not just in societies and groups, but at the individual and work sphere. It is the oil that drives lasting changes. And it is weathered by the oils of commitment. How often have you found yourself at those inflections when every side was closing in, your back against the wall and no help in sight. Do you remember that the situation was so because you took a turn for the road that seemed endless? So how did that story end?

See, no matter our goal, there must be dead commitment, because every revolutionary dies in order for that idea to come to life. It is a battle of the mind and also a platform for losing. If you don't want it enough to die for it, then you never wanted it at all. Now note that the context of death here is not in taking wrong and wicked turns to bring about of desires. It's actually a battlefield of shedding off excess load and baggage to reach the goal, it's a world of throwing off board all options that means a simpler road, it's a gateway that allows only fervent, enduring and blind faith.

Our problem most times, is that we have reduced life to what we can get or receive and as such our commitment level is too low that what we encourage cannot be pursued. We easily run out of steam because we are torn between us and the mountains in sight. Yet, we must always remember that the moment we focus on the mountain, we lose sight of the goal. Yes, there are competing factors in every chosen endeavour, but we must find the balance in winning.

To win is to initiate that plan with fervour, plan with vigour, execute with passion, monitor and control with tact and to close strong in a commanding fashion, but remember you are responsible for all your actions. Yes, it is a complex but simplex process of breaking the seeming complex things into smaller bits, and meticulously looking over every item ahead and in enough time.

Do not fret, it may look as if the world is crumbling, sometimes, your little efforts may not seem to be producing any result, yet must you keep at it for as long as it is certain and purpose driven, you will strike goal. Do not cry away your strength, there is always light at the other end of every tunnel, you challenge is to reach close enough to see it. The whole place might seem so bleak, but world changers don’t become one by quitting, they stayed even when the minutest of details showed it was failing. They used the little past victories to strengthen their resolve. Even their failings energized them to do more.

Remember, if you want it enough, you will end up getting it. You don't need to fill your hands with filthy lucre. An idea is only as good as the extent that you are ready to die to yourself for it to come to pass. You may be the laughing stock of your team and country, Still for your idea to begin to bring forth, death has to occur and this is commitment.

Nugget: Show me a man of change, and I will show a committed man. You can be king, if you have the heart to take it. Yet you must do what kings do.
