When You are Discouraged

Oftentimes we find ourselves in those situations when nothing makes sense. Even now as you read this, it’s simply one of those many epistles people write just to make you feel good. You are hurt and your heart is heavy. These times and such scenario are not for words, yet it’s all that we can offer - comforting thoughts.

Learning New Lines

Our lives can take a dive for worlds unknown when love goes wrong. It's a matter that drills into our very being and saps our strength. Work becomes torture, smiles are faked and life just comes to a standstill.

Annexing Indecision

Flowing from the challenge we face with taking a stand is the result that being undecided can create and make of us. The sum total of the altitude we can attain is a direct consequence of our attitude with the hard questions we must answer most times. 

Fighting that Remark

Have you ever been in a situation where you have your thoughts spread before you but you have to now assess your actions based on what others feel? How did it feel to be under the surgical knife and be so hurt when the operation ended? Not funny you would say. Yes indeed, the eyes of others can be so penetrating and can so make you bare that you begin to wonder what you were doing.

Little Things

 There once lived this elder statesman who in recounting on his depiction as a success and disciplined man being the mere results of his drive to manage his time. For him, each extra minute he gave to any event meant that some other things would run short of their height. So while many saw a disciplined and principled man, he was simply cautious of time - little things.

World Changers

Once you have alternatives, your preservation in what your goal is becomes diminished. It does not matter how far gone you are, it does not matter the shade of obstacles you are facing. A winning mind is that one that is focused on the goal.

The Lure

 We often get carried away with the lure to greater heights that we seem to forget that if we don’t own today, we can and may never even reach our vision and dream. The lure to become what we see in our mind eye can be so tempting that when we are faced with choices, we don’t think before we make our choices.

Losing to Win

My Many Excuses

I did not take my certification exam because my project needs have been huge. I have had to work day in, day out to meet set target. I have always wanted this sort of life and he was not fitting into the picture of my life portrait, so he had to go, after all the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off. I am not at the same faith level with her, so you can understand why she could tarry but I could not. I have always been like this, so just understand this is who I am. Hmm! I am not born with a 'silver spoon', otherwise he cannot best me. How I wish I was that handsome or this rich or that popular, perhaps I could be her prince charming. Excuses!!! We are full of them.

Why am I here?

Today's thoughts are with us when we find our life at those pits we cannot explain and yet know things ought and can be different. It's for you my friend when life seems to have closed in on you. These lines are for you as you walk through those questions that no one else but you can fathom.
