There is a quiet difference between patience and docility.
One day, you realise that waiting does not mean becoming
still.
Patience is not surrendering your voice, your boundaries or
your agency simply because you have chosen not to force an outcome.
It is knowing that some things cannot be hurried without
being harmed.
So you wait.
But while you wait, you continue.
You work.
You grow.
You pray.
You become.
You allow people to make their choices without trying to
make those choices for them. You allow time to reveal what repeated
explanations cannot. You resist the temptation to keep knocking simply because
the door has not opened.
There is strength in that.
Perhaps patience is not the ability to endure the waiting.
Perhaps it is the wisdom to keep becoming while you wait.
And sometimes, that is the breakthrough.
Nugget: Patience does not ask you to stop moving.
It asks you to stop forcing.
