I have an announcement to make.
The reports of my musical demise were greatly exaggerated.
Many of you may remember my previous article, The Day MyMusic Career Died, where I documented the unfortunate events surrounding
the untimely passing of what would have been a legendary singing career.
The prime suspect remains my sister.
The prosecution's case was, and still is, compelling.
Well...
I have new evidence.
After church today, something unexpected happened.
A song settled in my heart.
I picked up the microphone.
The organist joined in with the sort of accompaniment that
makes even average people begin to question whether they have been hiding
extraordinary gifts all along.
I sang.
People responded.
There were smiles.
There was cheering.
For approximately three glorious minutes, I experienced the
life that had been stolen from me all those years ago.
Standing there, one thought crossed my mind.
This...
This is the celebrity one woman tried so desperately to
erase from history.
“Truth crushed to
earth truly rises again.”
Justice delayed is not justice denied.
Naturally, I decided to inform the accused.
I shared the testimony in our family group, expecting at the
very least a heartfelt apology.
Perhaps even an admission that she had misjudged my
extraordinary abilities.
Instead, this was her response.
"Hahahahahaha! Even your church members just do not
want to hurt your feelings, especially in the house of God. They are trying to
show kindness."
Ladies and gentlemen...
The accused has shown absolutely no remorse.
No repentance.
No willingness to cooperate with investigators.
Nothing.
Even after overwhelming eyewitness testimony.
I am therefore announcing that the case has now moved beyond
the court of public opinion.
We are considering taking it to the Supreme Court.
Appeals may follow.
All jokes aside, her response made me laugh.
But it also reminded me of something.
Life becomes lighter when we stop waiting for unanimous
approval before enjoying the moments God gives us.
Not everyone will clap.
Some people genuinely believe they are helping by keeping
your feet on the ground.
Others simply see the world differently.
Neither should rob you of your joy.
Perhaps I will never record an album.
The nation may indeed have been spared.
But for those three minutes, I sang with freedom.
I smiled.
Others smiled with me.
And that was enough.
Besides, I have now accumulated independent evidence that my
music career may not have died after all.
The investigation continues.
The accused remains under close observation.
And should further concerts become necessary in the interest
of justice...
I am prepared to cooperate fully.
Nugget
Do not let someone else's opinion become the loudest
voice in your head. Sometimes the freedom to enjoy the moment is worth more
than the need to win the argument.
In the accused defense, there is no evidence that she ruined ur music career. And falsely accusing someone on ur own sole decision to stop singing because you know that you’re bad at t is blackmailing and defamation of character.
ReplyDeleteWe hereby request the sum of $10,000 as compensation for defamation of character. And a public apology on your blog and whatapp status on or before 14th of July 2026
