I have been having a nagging desire to change course in my career. I feel this is the best time to move a step higher up the management ladder; so I am becoming picky in my choices. Yet I felt a hunch, and so I went fishing ... Am I making the right move?

Think and Breathe

Peter was boiling inside, he needed to share his thoughts; he has been maligned, roughed and he was having none of it. He felt so much rage and the words to express his anger could not be heard back any longer. And then the microphone falls and now he was livid; because he felt he saw Paul drop the microphone intentionally. And while he waits for the new microphone he finds out that the talks about Peter were directed at some other Peter. Now he thanks God that Paul dropped the Mic.

Worth My While

So I spent the last few days’ stock taking, looking into the last one year and wondering if a lot of things had been worth it. The late nights spent to achieve a goal, the things I had to give up to get more important things done, the lives I was able to make a difference to, the time spent with families and friends, the savings I could have put away for festivities later, the reduced or extra quantities of food that could have made me loose or add weight, the traffic I could have avoided by simply staying put at home and the people who God sent my way to bless me.
