As a kid reading the Biblical Parable of the wise and foolish virgins, I always wondered why the preparation for the night watch separated the group into foolish and wise. They were all virgins after all. So what made the difference? How much oil they carried - Yes Oil for the night, fuel for the journey, content for the mind, character for the struggle.

I am Gold

Preferences are the choices we all make. I prefer a blue top to any other colour and if I must make a choice, blue will win again and again. That is my preference, it's my choice; love it or hate it. Ever found yourself using similiar lines?

That Loss

In the last couple of days, I got the shock of my life and I do think that is a beautiful platform to begin our story here again. Have you ever been in a situation where you lose what you always wanted. How did you cope? Was it easy? It must have been tumultuous and a difficult climb.

When You are Discouraged

Oftentimes we find ourselves in those situations when nothing makes sense. Even now as you read this, it’s simply one of those many epistles people write just to make you feel good. You are hurt and your heart is heavy. These times and such scenario are not for words, yet it’s all that we can offer - comforting thoughts.

Learning New Lines

Our lives can take a dive for worlds unknown when love goes wrong. It's a matter that drills into our very being and saps our strength. Work becomes torture, smiles are faked and life just comes to a standstill.

Annexing Indecision

Flowing from the challenge we face with taking a stand is the result that being undecided can create and make of us. The sum total of the altitude we can attain is a direct consequence of our attitude with the hard questions we must answer most times. 

Fighting that Remark

Have you ever been in a situation where you have your thoughts spread before you but you have to now assess your actions based on what others feel? How did it feel to be under the surgical knife and be so hurt when the operation ended? Not funny you would say. Yes indeed, the eyes of others can be so penetrating and can so make you bare that you begin to wonder what you were doing.
