When You Cannot See the Road Ahead

You are on a familiar road, one you have taken often. Then one day, you meet a bend you have never noticed before. It is quiet. No signs. No voices. Just a curve that hides everything beyond it.

You slow down.

For a moment, turning back feels reasonable. Not because where you came from was better, but because it was known. Predictable. Safe in its own way.

But then something shifts. You remember how easily you have believed in tomorrows you have never seen. The plans you have made. The life you have imagined. The quiet assumptions that things can still work out. None of these was ever certain, yet you held them anyway.

So you take the bend.

That is the tension we live with. We admit uncertainty, yet we continue to dream. We do not know what lies ahead, yet we keep preparing for it. In truth, uncertainty has never stopped us. It has only tried to slow us down.

Yes, we are not always sure of where the bend leads. But that has never been a good enough reason to stand still. If anything, it is the reason to keep moving. Because life was never designed to be lived only when everything is clear.

To hand over your existence to uncertainty is to let what you do not know decide what you will not do. That is a quiet surrender many make without realising it.

There is another way. You can accept that you do not see the full road, yet refuse to shrink your steps. You can plan, act, and move forward with a steady kind of courage. Not loud, not reckless, just consistent.

And in time, you often realise that the bend did not ask for certainty. It only asked that you keep going.

Nugget: Uncertainty may shape the path, but it does not have to decide your steps.

  1. It truly doesn't have to shape your next step. It helps when you know change is the only constant thing, so you can wait for it, and get ready to receive and work with it .
And always remember to fully rely on God for favorable out comes.
