No! Work will not stop with you

Ever been in a situation when all that worked in your unit revolved around you? Yes! You worked so tirelessly and work was your life. Well I am sorry to burst your bubble, you have been royally scammed because nothing rest on you alone.

Okay, you are here I suppose. Now hear this, as rude as the closing remarks in the last paragraph were, you needed to be faced with the truth. Yes, you are a very essential staff of that organization; indeed you will be missed - yet nothing is farther from the truth that things will only suffer from your personal touch, but somehow they will get done albeit differently.

So my friend, why have you been working with so much stress; pulled on all sides and with a dipping efficiency and you still refuse to lay off work and refuel? Do you think your Boss will be so mean not to approve a one day off work? Even when your leave might not be approved for whatever 'soothing lie' that might be engineered, you could negotiate some well deserved break if you have been just a little diligent at what you do. Oh! I get it, not every work place is formal, some have brute processes that are driven by modern day slave drivers. Hmm!  Again, you could actually ask for a day off without pay or even more if it comes to that. In short let that be what you put on the table not some begging stunt, just do something and let some steam out.

Wondering why this is our thought for today, well people are breaking down all around me because they need to get work done. Many are losing their tempers at little or nothing because they are stretched too thin. Some have died of exhaustion and a lot have lost their edge at that thing they do not want to rest from. What about you? Don't you think you deserve a break and a breather. Think about yourself for once; check-in on your family and then see what you are doing even to your job by continuing to work when rest is all you need. Think Dear ... Think
