Every Start

A start is always a beginning marked out because it signifies different curves we have taken.

Those who have started anything new or afresh will share this thought - "the beginning is filled with several landmines". Note that some of these landmines are self-afflicted, others are part of the process one is running, while other are just symbols of how prepared and focused we are.

Hmm! It is often the choices we make at this starts that will determine how far that endeavor will go. If you have ever designed a flow chart, you will realize that in most cases if not all, after some processing and data management, what comes often is a decision. Like those charts will represent, when we come to these crossroads, we either go in the direction of a 'Yes' or a 'No' and each one has consequences. Now that is instructive dear friend, because it show that one way our starts can make any bite is the strength and depth of our resolve.

Okay, are you here? Now have you watched athletics before? Now check out most sprinters that have made their mark, they go thus far and it’s all dependent on their start. If you have ever been in the starting lineup of a race yourself, you will agree that to get a prime start from the block, you well it from within. You psyche your system and push every ounce of you to agree with that resolve. If anyone part of you is not well trained for this process though, you will not get optimal result, if by any means you are injured, you may not produce the best output; so the sub optimal parts of your personality actually determines where and how you end.

So we have identified our resolve, training, sub levels as key to winning every start up. Yet we must understand that the key thing in every endeavor is to believe that it is possible. If you don't mind, I will need you to carry out a little self-appraisal with me today; ask yourself what you are grappling with at whatever level of your life, sincerely look through and you will see the landmines. The ones that are most interesting however are the parts that came from our past and those things we have toyed with forever because they have always been us.

You cannot start afresh and hold on to the past. If you want to let go, 'just do!'; if you want to stay in the past, help yourself. Yet do know that no one wins a battle he has not disposed himself to entering in the first instance.

Nugget: At times, the start might be slow and fraught with mistake, if you fall, clean up, look round, draw strength and stay on track, you can never fail with that mind.
