I am Gold

Preferences are the choices we all make. I prefer a blue top to any other colour and if I must make a choice, blue will win again and again. That is my preference, it's my choice; love it or hate it. Ever found yourself using similiar lines?


You see, we have the things we want and how we want it and most times when those around us make their own preference, we cry blue murder. If they prefer silver when you are offering Gold, you do not have to hate them for it. Life is a sequence of choices. Every turn has a decision box and we subject our options to our socialization, our environment, the norms that persist as well as ultimately - our preference. Simply put, perspective runs on you, your socialization, your environment and what you allow to influence you. 

People are different. some would never understand, some understand but will never move themselves, others don't just care. As our faces are different so are we on different strata of understanding and perceptive reasoning.  

My Littlehead knows much about this and will always remind me that I must not allow people's preferences make mince meat of who I am. Yes, You are Gold, whether others see it or not, never diminish you. 

The battle of gold with fire is the story of perseverance, it is a furnace that births character; a character that runs on hope. Always know that you hold the ace, you control the realms. For man is not defined by the stories of others, we write our lines by our own hands.
