Uncharted Waters

Growing up was fun. It had all the traps of love and growth happened continuously. The family was awesome and there was always something to share together. One of those was the frequent visit to the pool. It was simply an atmosphere that was filled with pleasant memories, but on this day, John saw it differently. 

That distraction

Ma was adept at cooking. She can cook a storm. Cooking was a passion for her and it was also a paying one at that. Speak of passion meeting purpose.

When you want to make a point

John was his form's captain. On labour days, classes were allotted portions to clear. This was a manual process of using the approved farming tool to keep the environment clean and safe. As the leader of his class, John had to share the class portion among his classmate and provide leadership while they work through it.

Have you ever been rejected?

 Being rejected is a feeling no one wants to deal with - Oh, it kills me. It hits at the whole of your being. You are drained and then you begin to lose yourself. You are less of you every day as a result and then you start second-guessing yourself.  You throw trust away and "stay in your lane." And saying 'yes' becomes a chore - with joy taking a walk 

Pursue Growth

 Now growth is a drink in the spirit beyond what seems the norm. It is a "walk in the park" of life but on the learning lane.
